Hindle Cup

Sale Grammar’s Alumni go head to head for the Hindle Cup this Thursday evening.

This Thursday Evening sees Sale Grammar’s Alumni Old Boys facing off against Sale Grammar’s Even Older Alumni Boys for the Hindle Cup.

The Hindle Cup as it is proudly known is named after Mr Andrew Hindle, who was the former Head of Physical Education at the school, where he taught so many of the Alumni Old Boys during their time at the school.

The Hindle Cup games were created as a way of not only remembering Mr Hindle and the work he did at the school, but to also provide a legacy, allowing students both young and old to compete for the cup in his memory, therefore bringing together the former alumni of the school on this prestigious sporting occasion.

Kick Off on Thursday Evening will be 7.30pm, with admission being Adults £5 and Children U16 £3.
