Allianz INNER WARRIOR Camp
Sale FC 1861 Girls will be hosting an Allianz INNER WARRIOR Camp on 29th October 2023 at our Carrington Training ground (11:30 am to 1 pm). Sale FC 1861 will be playing a league game at 2 pm. Details here: www.salefc.com/allianz-inner-warrior-camp.
Training is on a Thursday evening at 6 pm and a Sunday morning at 10 am, both at our Carrington Training Ground and we frequently participate in Cheshire/Lancashire county events, giving our girls the opportunity to play and meet other girls from across the region. The Under 18s also have the opportunity to train alongside the 1861 team on a Tuesday and Thursday evening (with some limitations – rugby is a contact sport after all). Any girls interested in joining are welcome at training anytime, we’ll make sure they learn the skills they need to get playing.
We have four girls-only age groups:
- Under 12s: (Years 6 & 7)
- Under 14s: (Years 8 & 9)
- Under 16s: (Years 10 & 11)
- Under 18s: (Years 12 & 13)
Sale FC prides itself on being a family-friendly club, the M&J section is often involved on Saturday’s and Sundays at competitive matches and a unique feature of games at Heywood Road is the half-time run around on the pitch.
