This weekend at 3pm sees Sale FC 2 play North Manchester club Sedgley Park 2 in the first round of the Cup.
This is a knockout cup with a 1/4 final place on the line. Sale FC have struggled in the league of late, but results are definitely moving in the right direction and one off cup matches can be unpredictable.
For the first time ever we’ve got two ex minis and juniors (Tom McBride and John Blanchard Jr) available for selection for the Second Team, with John Blanchard jr also having played 1st Team this season.
