Sale FC Rugby is proud to announce that, in celebration of its 120th anniversary at Heywood Road, the stadium will now be officially renamed as Morson Stadium. This milestone marks a new chapter in the club’s rich history, honouring both its legacy and its future. The renaming comes as part of a strengthened partnership with Morson Group, a Manchester-based organisation with deep roots in the local community and a long-standing commitment to supporting sport and talent development across the region.

Scott Bambrick Chairman of Sale FC stated “As an Exec, we are thrilled to announce the renaming of our historic home as the Morson Stadium and is a fitting tribute in our 120th year at Heywood Road. We are incredibly grateful to Ged Mason and the entire team at Morson for their continued support and belief in Sale FC Rugby. The renaming of the stadium reflects Sale FC’s commitment to building strong, lasting partnerships with organisations that share its values and vision. With Morson Group now proudly displayed at the front of the stadium, the club looks forward to an exciting future both on and off the pitch. I would also like to extend our sincere thanks to CorpAcq, the club’s previous stadium sponsor, for their unwavering support. As part of the transition, CorpAcq will now become the club’s principal kit sponsor, continuing their valued relationship with the club.”

Morson CEO Ged Mason shared his delight on the newly named Morson Stadium as stated: “we’re thrilled to see Heywood Road, the home of Sale FC for the past 120 years, officially become the Morson Stadium. Supporting Sale FC, a proud, community-owned club that continues to drive the growth of Men’s and Women’s rugby both regionally and nationally is something we’re immensely proud of. We look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting the club’s ambitions on and off the pitch for more years to come.
