We have two big games on this weekend. The First XV head to Tynedale to take on the undefeated team from Northumberland. We are currently in 3rd place in National 2 North with Tynedale in 2nd Place. Even a big win won’t see us overtake Tynedale, but defeat will definitely make our lives more difficult.
At Heywood Road the 2nd XV are in cup action against Sedgley Park.
KO will be 3pm and the clubhouse will be open with entry free for all.

Sale FC managed to get the previous week’s disappointment out of the way by picking up the win against a strong Hinckley team at Heywood Road.

Squad has been announced for tomorrow’s game against South Leicester rfc with injuries to a few players there’s been some shuffling around and things are looking strong this week again. a first appearance off the bench from Kennet O’Neill is likely and Anthony Bingham-Rudsdale returns from a week off, GRawl Thomas comes back after the birth of his baby, and Matt Sturgess comes back after his injury as well.

This weekend we take on new opponents in National 2 North. They’ve been without a win this season, but have lost two very close matches and scored some tries so they will be tricky opposition.

On a beautiful day in Trafford, Sale FC turned on the style to run in nine tries from 8 different players. One of the defining characteristics of this team during the 2016-2017 season is that even without the instrumental Andy Hughes and powerful running Scott Rawlings sidelined through injury, we still managed to effectively put more than fifty points passed newly relegated Preston Grasshoppers without really ever moving out of third gear.
