Job: Head Coach

Scott Bambrick

Nationality Scottish ‘But for the grace of god I could have been born 150 miles further south’

Scott played rugby at high school for 4 years before then joining the army. During his time in the Army he continued his love affair with the sport playing at company and regimental level (1st Bn The Royal Scots). It was his young son Joshua who got him back into rugby when he asked to join the under 6s at Sale Fc. Not being one to stand on the side-lines he started helping with the under 6s. He has since went on to be coach at Sale Fc for the past 5 years, during which time he has headed up the tag age groups for 2 years. His enthusiasm for developing and working with the kids had him being awarded Sale Fc coach of the year in 2015.

‘He might be hard to understand with that funny Scottish accent, but the kids seem to like him’
