1861 Management Announcement
Sale 1861 are delighted to announce that Paula Bradbury will be taking over as Head Coach for the forthcoming campaign.
She comes with a wealth of experience on both sides of the pitch. She has been an ever present force in Cheshire Women’s rugby as backs coach for Cheshire 1st XV Womens along with Head Coach of the Girls U15s, utilising her previous experience at Winnington Park Ladies. She has also played for Wooden Spoon England Veterans 1st XV, Cheshire 1st XV, Winnington Park and our very own Sale 1861.
Paula has been a driving force for developing Women and Girls Rugby in the region and Sale 1861 believe she will be an invaluable part of an exciting chapter of Sale 1861’s journey.
Paula said:
It’s a real honour. Having been at Sale 1861 from the start and played alongside these women for the last 2 years. I know how passionate they are and I’m really looking forward to the challenge of carrying on the women’s progression where Steph Veal left off. We have a wealth of talent in the squad so developing that talent will be my main priority and we have a great team in place to do this.
