Andy Hughes has been selected for tonight’s game against Romania A. This is the final game of the tour after a 41-17 victory over CSM Bucharest. This is the culmination of a very long season for Andy, but he’s back next week and straight into his Community Coaching Role.  Over the last year and with local business funding, Andy has coached over 1000 children in Trafford Schools which has introduced a new generation of boys and girls to rugby as part of our 2020 vision.

His community role and his captaincy caps a massive year on and off the pitch for Sale FC Rugby. Winning the league and promotion, undefeated at home, Tricky The Mutt, The Suite @Sale, Cheshire, Lancashire and England Counties selections at a record high, as well as the biggest numbers of Minis and Juniors in the history of the club. It has been a good year, stay tuned for more!
