As the 1st team prepare for a huge clash against league leaders Rams this Saturday, second-row Peter Vickers has made it clear—the team is relishing the challenge. After a strong performance against Richmond, the squad is determined to carry that momentum forward and prove a point against one of the division’s top sides.

“The lads are really excited for this weekend,” said Vickers, the 24-year-old former Wales U18 and Wasps Academy forward. “We know it’s going to be another physical encounter, but that’s something we really thrive off. It’s a great chance to back up our performance from Richmond against a side near the top of the table, and after earlier in the season, we certainly owe them one.”
The previous meeting between the two sides left unfinished business for Sale FC, coming in at Half time 0-0, we left reading empty handed and 0 points scored. Making this fixture all the more important. With the team hitting their stride in recent weeks, there’s no better time to take on the best and show just how far they’ve come.
Be there at Heywood Road this Saturday to back the boys in what promises to be a physical and high-intensity battle!
The Guinness 6 Nations will be shown live in the bar following the 1st team. 16:45 Kick off.
Food available upstairs until 7 PM
