Announcement from Club President.
Following the Club announcement earlier this week, on behalf of everyone who has had the privilege of being part of Sale FC during Scott’s tenure, I’d like to thank him for him exceptional commitment, leadership and dedication over the past 10 years. The growth and success of the club during this period is a reflection of the countless hours, passion and vision he has brought to the role.
His focus on creating a welcoming, ambitious and sustainable club environment has helped ensure that Sale FC remains a special place for players, members, volunteers and supporters of all ages.
While it is sad to see Scott step down as Chairman, he leaves the club in a strong position and with a legacy that will be felt for many years to come. I’d like to wish him every success in whatever comes next and hope to continue seeing him around the club.
Moving forward, In Scott’s absence, I will be stepping into the role of Club Chairman on an interim basis until the next AGM. To ensure a smooth transition, I will be working closely with Scott over the coming months.
In addition, former President and long-standing Club member, Richard Trickey, has kindly agreed to serve as President during this period. Both appointments are temporary and will remain in place until the next AGM, when members will have the opportunity to formally agree on a permanent replacement.
