Mini and Junior Rugby

Tricky The Mutt- Our Mascot

At Sale FC we divide our Mini and Junior Rugby division into two distinct groups based on school age. Our Minis and Juniors section isn’t just about rugby. We have a healthy social life for both the children and the parents. The children are heavily represented on 1st Team match day at Heywood Road, with the Guard of Honour, Ball Boys and Girls, as well as supporting the team. Before the end of last season the 1st team players made a very special tribute to the minis and juniors section, Called The Sixteenth Man, which you can watch here

If your child is in Primary School they will be in the Mini Section of the club.

More Information

This age group runs from Under 6’s to Under 11’s.

When they go to Secondary school we then move them into the Junior Section of the club which is Under 12’s to Under 16’s.

As a general rule our Minis and Juniors all train and play home matches at Carrington on a Sunday Morning. This normally starts at 10am (but please enquire about KO times which might be later).

After training/matches they then go to the club house for a hotdog and a wind down.

Sundays: 10am- Carrington Training Ground

Match Report and Photos

At long last the dogs were back in action at HQ and a sizeable, vocal crowd were there to cheer them on as they took on the blood and sand of Cambridge.   After an impeccably observed minutes silence for several club members who had very sadly passed away during the previous 18 months, the […]
