Mini and Junior Rugby
At Sale FC we divide our Mini and Junior Rugby division into two distinct groups based on school age. Our Minis and Juniors section isn’t just about rugby. We have a healthy social life for both the children and the parents. The children are heavily represented on 1st Team match day at Heywood Road, with the Guard of Honour, Ball Boys and Girls, as well as supporting the team. Before the end of last season the 1st team players made a very special tribute to the minis and juniors section, Called The Sixteenth Man, which you can watch here
If your child is in Primary School they will be in the Mini Section of the club.
This age group runs from Under 6’s to Under 11’s.
When they go to Secondary school we then move them into the Junior Section of the club which is Under 12’s to Under 16’s.
As a general rule our Minis and Juniors all train and play home matches at Carrington on a Sunday Morning. This normally starts at 10am (but please enquire about KO times which might be later).
Sundays: 10am- Carrington Training Ground

We at Sale FC Rugby are devastated by the loss of a cornerstone of our rugby family. He was a friend to all, a colleague to some and a cheeky gossip to many. I was first introduced to him more than twelve years ago and he immediately struck me as a kind and engaging […]
