We've been drinking beer for 150 years but we've never had our own cheeky tipple... until now!

We thought to ourselves, what's the best way to celebrate over 150 years of Sale FC Rugby Club and a record breaking 2011/12 season? The answer was obvious, with beer! But not any old beer, our very own limited edition 1861 beer.

We've teamed up with our buddies at Sunny Thinking and Dunham Massey Brewery to create our very own beer, aptly named 1861 (and best supped watching rugby!)

And a big cheers to all you who drink it. We're donating a percentage of our 1861 sales to the Wooden Spoon Charity, which gives disadvantaged children and young people a chance to achieve their full potential.
