As we near our final fundraising week on Crowdfunding. We’ve received a lovely message of support from the Milner family. Ian Milner has left a message on our crowdfunding page after making a generous donation to the club.
We find ourselves in very difficult times and the crowdfunding opportunity is a great way of obtaining financial assistance for the club. My family have been keen followers of Sale FC for a number of years at Heywood Road with 3 generations following the teams exploits over the last 50 years. Sadly we lost both my dad and uncle recently and they were both keen supporters of the club and attended most home fixtures as they lived local to the ground. Its great to see the clubs Redevelopment Project at Carrington to help in the development of players young and old and this will benefit the club in the future . We as a family thought it would be a great way to support the club and have both my dad and uncles name remembered on a plaque at the club they supported for many years and would have donated themselves in some way. Rugby is more than just a game. It is a sense of community, support and for many a place where lifelong friendships are made. Thank you to Ian, thank you to your father and uncle for their lifelong support and thank you for your donation to the club.
